Our club

Lions Club of South Vermont

The Lions Club of South Vermont is a small, vibrant club within the City of Whitehorse with around 30 members who meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month at The Coach in Ringwood. Our club was formed and chartered in 1985.

Many strong friendships both within and outside the club have been established through our activities which are focused on Vermont South, the City of Whitehorse and adjoining areas of Melbourne.

We are ordinary people doing extraordinary things in our Community – supporting local people with a disability, the underprivileged and needy, community greening, and fundraising for worthwhile local, national, and international causes.

Be a part of the change. Be inspired. Make a difference. Join the Lions Club of South Vermont.

New and prospective members as well as members of other Lions clubs are made to feel welcome at our meetings.

Making a difference

Each of the service clubs within Australia is grouped by state and then into districts. There are five districts within Victoria, and we do great work in District 201V5, located within Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs, along with Healesville, Marysville, Eildon, Yea, Seymour, Nagambie, Euroa, Shepparton and Dookie.
