Our club

Lions Club of Kyabram

Chartered in 1964, we currently have 22 members of which 15 are active.

We operate a BBQ trailer at functions around our town, sometimes as a fundraiser but not always.

Fundraising comes from Bunnings BBQs at Echuca (some 40 km away), sale of Lions Cakes and Mints, prior to Covid we held an annual Show’n’Shine as well as a racing car enthusiasts evening the night before, great guest speakers which are current and past racing car drivers – this was by far our best fundraising project.

Each year we make donations to our community, local schools and welfare providers as well as Lions Foundations, the last 2 years we have donated approx $5000.

Making a difference

Each of the service clubs within Australia is grouped by state and then into districts. There are five districts within Victoria, and we do great work in District 201V5, located within Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs, along with Healesville, Marysville, Eildon, Yea, Seymour, Nagambie, Euroa, Shepparton and Dookie.
