For Australian needs, we hold our funds in the Australian Lions Foundation (ALF)and these funds may be called upon by any Lions Club in Australia to respond to community needs and emergency responses. Australian clubs make voluntary contribution to this fund.

For international needs, we hold our funds in the Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF) and these funds may be called upon by any Lions Club in the world to respond to community needs and emergency responses. 

Australia has benefited from being able to call on these funds for many needs and emergency responses. As an example, the LCIF contributed over $2.5mil in funds to support the genome sequencing of every childhood cancer in Australian Research Institutions.

Australian and international clubs make voluntary contribution to this fund.
