Our Service Club

Lions Club of Melbourne All Abilities

Melbourne All-Abilities Lions Club is the only all-ability club in Victoria.

Our club promotes a culture of acceptance and enrichment by engaging in service in our community.

Our membership is made up of people with a disability, family members, carers, friends and support workers.

Many of our members are young people aged in their early twenties.

We encourage the participation of all our members in service projects, meetings, social engagements and leadership roles.

Members of Melbourne All-Abilities Lions Club can be found at Bunnings BBQS, Bunnings community nights, local markets and festivals, tree planting days and book sorting.

Money raised from our various fundraising efforts goes towards supporting the 123 Read 2 Me Lions Literacy Project, Skin Cancer Check Awareness, Children’s Cancer Research, Lions Hearing and Medical Alert Dogs, Licola Camp for disadvantaged children and Lions Story Dogs.

100% of funds raised goes back into our community.

Making a difference

Each of the service clubs within Australia is grouped by state and then into districts. There are five districts within Victoria, and we do great work in District 201V5, located within Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs, along with Healesville, Marysville, Eildon, Yea, Seymour, Nagambie, Euroa, Shepparton and Dookie.
