Our club

Lions Club of Nunawading

62 years young, Nunawading Lions are still very passionate about supporting our local community.

We support youth through our Youth of the Year competition, sponsor a Leo club held at Forest Hill College and fund a group of children to attend Licola Wilderness camp each year.

Our annual Xmas raffle at Forest Hill Chase shopping centre has been going for over 40 years. The famous Lions Xmas cakes are sold during the month of December along with raffle tickets.

Our Community Grants of $2,000 annually allow us to support some worthwhile community groups to help various cohorts of Whitehorse residents.

With 26 members and growing each year in numbers, Nunawading is a proactive group with members ranging from 45 years to 85 years.

Making a difference

Each of the service clubs within Australia is grouped by state and then into districts. There are five districts within Victoria, and we do great work in District 201V5, located within Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs, along with Healesville, Marysville, Eildon, Yea, Seymour, Nagambie, Euroa, Shepparton and Dookie.
